These events are actually quite meaningful to the participants as they can for one destress,have a good laugh and win some prizes.
Organizers should organize more of such events to benefit the public and at the same time benefit themselves.

The sky's the limit

Singing is Believing
Good evening.
I got this video off Youtube, it's a segment taken off an well-known show called American Idol.
Watching this video made me realize that there are many people who cannot sing. I am not trying to mock anyone but if you were to watch the actual show on the television, there are plenty of those who can sing. Basically, I learned that there are two groups of people in this show, those who can sing and those who cannot.
What I would like to name those who cannot sing are not 'losers' nor 'failures', I would call them 'talents'. As for those who can sing very well, I would group them under 'talented'. My explanation is simple, I always believed that everyone are talents, however only some become talented overtime. 'Talents' are known as unreleased potential well as 'talented' is potential that has been maximized.
Hence, in this corrupted world where others only scout for the 'talented', I have to learn how to maximize my potential in every little thing that I do as I know that through this little things will eventually lead to bigger things and responsibilities in life.
So let us make a decision today! Stop being a talent and let us be talented!

Hi,today I'm posting about speaking and listening correctly.
Well,everyone knows Sesame Street,the famous childhood show everyone has watched and it's content is to teach and educate kids on the say well basic morals,alphabets and words. It's popularity and ability to convey good messages has kept around for around 40 years or so.
The video I've posted shows what if,messages are properly conveyed and words aren't pronounced or heard properly.
Hence,it obviously shows how important people must hear what people are telling them and to tell people clearly what they want to tell.If not these funny/wrong things would be spoken.

What is a National Day song suppose to mean/do?It is supposed to allow Singaporeans to be more proud of their country and be happy to be in Singapore and I believe with this funny version,the song has served twice the amount of happiness a Singaporean would/should get.

This video is taken from a entertaining Australian game show called WipeOut. In this show, the winner will walk away with a grand prize of $50,000.
What I realized this video, is that the speakers or narrators play a huge part in making this show a hilarious one. Their comments are actually the main point of why I like this show. After watching this video, I should learn how to speak in an interesting way so that the listeners will not feel bored or sleepy. The tone of their voice is something that I should pick up so that I can apply it to my future presentations in class.
As for the participants, even though some of them may be a little crazy at times, they did not give up after failing in a certain segment of the obstacle course. I had discovered that true loss only happens when a person gives up. This is the type of attitude that I should have as a student. Never say die!

Hi there my cool Singapore friends.

Though all these were funny accidents that happen, many of them were careless mistakes probably due to over-confidence. During gymnastics part of the video, I was taken aback. As all those were most likely taken from the Olympics, the people still continued to have errors in their movements and routines. I can relate this to my daily life as I may understand and even feel as if I have mastered a certain module just because I may have gotten it right once but I am still capable of making simple mistakes.
I looked through a list to quotes and I found one that really fits with this topic.
"Don't practice until you get it right, but practice until you can't get it wrong"

Hey,it's my first time posting in blogs and such,so I'am not really good at writing these kind of stuff but anyways,i begin my first time by posting a video about basketball.
The L.A.Lakers are the 2010,2009 NBA finals champion. What does this video show?What does the mistake pass mean?
Actually,if you think in depth to this video,it actually shows how life can be. Sometimes,someone can take a wrong step in life and may think that it's over,that they have lost in the game of life,but actually that wrong step maybe actually lead to a better outcome,which can maybe lead to a win in the end.
Hence,we should sometimes look at things at a different perspective and even take a laugh at a wrong move,cause in the end it may all turn out well.
